3D Graphics & Animation (MAYA)
Asian Academy of Film and Television offers a course in 3D Graphics & Animation (MAYA). The course encompasses information on film theory, storyboarding, character design and art design. The course provides students with information on 3D animation and its workflow. Students are given training in tools used in animation industry. The course places importance on shading and CG lighting, organic and non-organic modeling, camera and basics, concepts and practical, match moving for visual effects, animation and character rigging, etc.
Students are given training in software including AutoDesk Maya, Photoshop. The duration of 3D Graphics & Animation (MAYA) is three months. Students who wish to take admission to the course need to have passed 10+2 exam from recognized board of exam. The course curriculum contains 25 percent theoretical and 75 percent practical exercises. The syllabus is given below.

Compositing and Special Effects
Asian Academy of Film and Television offers a course in Compositing and Special Effects. Students are given training in software used for special effects such as matte extraction, chroma keying, rotoscoping, wire removal, colour correction and other compositing techniques used in creating videos and graphics. Students are taught stabilization and tracking. They are given practical exercises that include extension using many techniques like projection and camera catching techniques.
The training contains advanced software including Combustion, After Effects, Elements of 3D and Photoshop. The course duration is three months that incorporates theoretical as well as practical subjects. Students who wish to take admission to Compositing and Special Effects Programme need to have passed 10+2 exam from a recognized board. The course syllabus is given below.
