MSc in Multimedia + PGD in Multimedia Production

Asian Academy of Film and Television offers a course in Multimedia. Multimedia includes the use of computers to integrate images, text and sound to create presentation for the end users. The course is designed with the purpose of imparting high standards of education to produce expert professionals. Multimedia includes text, and the text consists of symbols, numbers, written words, etc. On the contrary, images include moving, still and sound. These all elements form multimedia.

Multimedia is extensively used in business, education, entertainment, etc. It is also globally used on the internet. The aim of multimedia is to provide audience/user with the fullest information on various subjects. Multimedia is solely depends upon computer technology. However, multimedia programmes are being designed by creative people as well. The expert professionals produce creative and charming design, layout, develop text, visuals, sound and comprise the content of multimedia.

Text and graphics including photographs, drawings, diagrams and charts and visual aspects such as arrows and buttons are included in multimedia productions. The aim of these aspects is to enables user to interact with the programme. The responsibility of a multimedia professional is to finalize text presentation. To become a perfect multimedia professional, one has to learn various types of software to create still and animated images.

AAFT students are taught basics of taking images and audio recording to create a multimedia production. The course curriculum includes theoretical as well as practical subjects. The course produces skilled and knowledgeable industry professionals. The film school provides students with all equipments to facilitate them in acquiring knowledge. Special effects play an important role in the field of film and television. In order to increase their business, TV news channels use graphic effects. Therefore, graphic designers are in great demand.

Eligibility Criteria
Students who wish to take admission to the above said course are required to possess graduate degree from a recognized university. After completing submission process, students will be called for appearing in an aptitude test. Once students are done with the test, they will be short-listed for personal interview to further the admission process. AAFT has an association with Punjab National Bank where students can get education loan. Nonetheless, loan sanction is totally at the discretion of the bank.
