Location

Asian Academy of Film and Television is situated in the film city that north of Noida. Asian School of Media is also there. Noida was created with the purpose of developing industries in the country. In 1976, Noida city was created under U.P. industrial development act.

The full form of Noida is Naveen Okhla Industrial Development Authority. It is also called New Okhla Industrial Development Authority. The city came into existence in April 17, 1976. Therefore, 17 April is celebrated as Noida Day. Noida is situated in Gautam Budh Nagar, a district in Utter Pradesh. Noida is about 20 km from New Delhi.

Noida has become a hub for multinational outsourcing companies. There are a number of software companies and Business Process Outsourcing companies (BPO) have offices in the city. Noida fascinates international companies because of its facilities such as special economic sector, close proximity to Delhi and suburban atmosphere. Noida is indeed a foremost hub industry.
