Production Direction and TV Journalism
The objective of Asian Academy of Film & Television is to inform, entertain, and educate audience. AAFT offers a course in production direction. A director is the person who interact with crewmembers, decides budget of a film, etc.
The responsibilities of a producer are to cooperate, initiate, administer and manage issues including hiring people, film distribution, marketing, etc. A producer is also responsible for supervising a number of activities and managing material, men and budget for executing the work. Asian Academy of Film and Television offers a course in direction and TV Journalism. The course provides students with ample information on direction, production and TV journalism.
The film school puts emphasis on television journalism and writing for the screen. Students are given training to create screen presentation by using techniques, single camera and multi-camera. During the practical exercises, students are given an opportunity to face camera. This helps them to sharpen their basic skills required for directing a film. The classes are held from Monday to Friday; nonetheless, students need to attend classes on Saturdays during the productions.
