M.A. Mass Communication
Anwar Jamal Kidwai, Mass Communication Research Center offers Master of Arts in Mass Communication. The course is designed with the purpose of imparting quality education in the field of mass communication. The aim of the course is to produce expert professionals with dynamic conceptual and technical skills. after completing the course, students get into diverse career options in photography, radio, video, film and television production. The course duration is two year. The course has total 50 seats.
The programme imparts learning in conceptual and technical skills through both theoretical subjects and hands-on practice. The alumni of MCRC have been working in diverse field of mass communication. These students have been contributing enthusiastically to several media institutions and industry. The alumni hold position including:

Students need to clear final exam in two parts that are held at the end of each academic year. The exam incorporates:
- Media production
- Written papers
- Internal assessment (consists of professional performance)
- Viva voce

Eligibility Criteria
Students who have taken their degree in the following discipline with at least 50 % marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.

- Natural Sciences
- Social Sciences
- Humanities
- Engineering or Medicine
Age limit
Students should not have exceeded 30 years of age at the time of admission. It must be noted that the students must submit the application form along with a Statement of Purpose (SoP) that has to be encapsulated extra-curricular activities. Students are advised to get their portfolio with them and produce they are asked to do so.
Admission Process
As per the schedule, the entrance for admission will be held on two days as per the schedule. The entrance exam consists of written test following the personal interview. The details of exam is given below.
The written exam includes two tests that are paper I & II that is to be held in the university campus in Delhi. The aim of this exam is to assess students' talent, aptitude, creative use of language, views, general awareness, etc. Once students cleared the written exam they will be short listed. After clearing the written exam, students need to appear for the personal interview.
The interview shall held at the MCRC, Delhi. Students ought to carry their portfolio that will be reviewed during the interview. It should be noted that the admissions will be made based on students' performance in the exam.
