Production Facilities
The Anwar Jamal Kidwai, Mass Communication Research Center equips students with analogue and digital systems for programme production. The institute has three studios fully equipped with advance technologies. It has TV studios for multi-camera productions and ample number of DV cameras including:

- Panasonic DVX 100
AJK MCRC organizes workshops, seminars and extensive practical sessions where students need other equipments to execute their task. Keeping this in mind, the institute provides students with advanced technology including:
- Sound studio
- Still photography units
- Avid adrenaline media composers
- Dual processors for film & video
- Steinbeck film editing machines
- Film cameras (16SR-3)
- Digital audio workstations
- Multimedia lab with relevant software for print journalism
- Final cut pro non-linear editing machines of the G5 series
AJK MCRC updates its production facility by purchasing new and advanced technology. The institute offers students an excellent opportunity to participate in training sessions to hone their fundamental skills.
Media Library
A library is said to be the treasure of knowledge. AJK Mass Communication Research Center has a library. The library is equipped with an array of books, periodicals, journals, audio cassettes, video cassettes, films, press clippings, stock shots, etc. Students avail these facilities to expand their horizon of knowledge. The library caters professional and production needs of producers and students. students are encouraged to avail the library facilities to widen their intellectual interest.
Canteen
AJK MCRC has a neat and clean canteen. The canteen serves snacks and beverages including coffee, tea, cold drinks, lunch and dinner. It provides students foods at reasonable price.
Residential Accommodation
Presently, the AJK MCRC does not have separate hostel facilities. However, the centre is looking forward to constructing its own separates hostels for boys and girls. The new hostel will have the capacity of approximately 150. The university has allocated funds and the construction will begin soon. Therefore, students will get separate hostels for boys and girls. The accommodation for both boys and girls will be on a limited basis. Presently, AJK MCRC does not guarantee for accommodation in the university.
Community Radio
AJK Mass Communication Research Centre has built an affectionate relationship through a community radio station on 90.4 FM. The radio station is launched with the purpose of addressing to residents of Jamia region, enrichment, radio Jamia broadcasts educational and an extensive range of rich socio-cultural programmes.
The aim of radio station is to make people aware of things happing around them. The radio station plays an important role in social reformation. It educates people and teach them social values. AJK MCRC community radio station can be heard approximately a radius of 10 kilometres on Jamia campus. Presently, students and the faculty produce the radio programmes in association with various organizations and groups in Delhi. Radio Jamia plays a catalyst role in the process of leaning at AJK MCRC.
Media Resource Center
AJK MCRC has a Media Resource Centre. It is an archive and theory center dedicated to film, documentary and contemporary media practices. The centre has been established and sponsored by Sir Ratan Tata Trust.
