UKSEE - Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam
Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun conducts the UKSEE Uttrakhand State Entrance Exam for admission to various courses of Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Hotel Management. They also offer Postgraduate courses like MBA/MCA of Private Unaided and Government Aided institutions affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU). This entrance exam is conducted every year.
The university conducts this entrance exam with the purpose of giving admission to candidates who want to carve their future in the realm of Technical Education. The objective of the university is to explore technical education in Uttarakhand to equip its students to meet demands of cutting-age technology.
Eligibility Criteria :
Aspirants are required to have passed 10+2 or the equivalent exam of Uttarakhand state or any Board which is recognized, to get admission to the first year of B.Pharm/B.tech/BHMCT.
B. Arch :
The aspirants are required to have obtained at least 50 % marks in aggregate of qualifying exam with National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) score to get admission to first year of B. Arch. Nonetheless, there is a minimum marks relaxation up to 45 % for aspirants who come under the Scheduled Cast/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) category.
MBA & MCA :
Aspirants are required to have passed a three-year degree course from any recognized University, for admission to first year MBA programmes. For admission to the MCA programme, the aspirants are needed to have passed a three-year degree course which has Mathematics as one of the subjects at either 10+2 level or graduation level.
B. Tech :
The aspirants are needed to have passed a three-year Diploma in Engineering for admission to second year of B. Tech programmes (for lateral entry). Or
They must have passed a three-year B.Sc Degree course with mathematics as one of the subjects and obtained at least 60 % marks in aggregate.
B. Pharm :
The aspirants are required to have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 60 % marks in aggregate for admission to second year of B. Pharm (lateral entry).
Aspirants who are appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply to UKSEE. However, their admission will be provisional and subject to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. They need to produce required documents at the time of counseling. UKSEE will fill the quota, All India quota for MCA and B.Pharm courses and the State quota. The aspirants who come under these quotas are needed to appear for UKSEE. The aspirants who belong to Kashmir are advised to refer to the university website for admission details.
